Welcome to Ridgemond training, we are delighted that you are considering joining us. We offer a number of courses in several subjects, starting at Foundation Level and progressing through to Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship.

The level you start at depends on your current knowledge and skills. Joining us at Foundation Level is the right choice if you have basic knowledge. You will develop valuable practical skills and achieve qualifications, to either Certificate or Diploma level, in your chosen trade.

Completing the Foundation Level is a stepping stone to progressing on to the Apprenticeship scheme. Completing the apprenticeship level will give you qualifications that employers’ value and that will help you to build a solid career and future:

Level two CAA diploma. Construction Skills Certification Scheme.

Level two NVQ. Functional and employability skills.

Ridgemond Training is committed to ensuring that you receive the very highest level of support. We provide help and advice right through from enquiry and application, though to achieving qualifications and progressing to further training or employment.

Our friendly Learner Support Team can also help with day to day issues such as:

• Financial support; advice and help with grants and transport costs.
• Childcare help; we have an on site day nursery at Stevenage. Places are free for anyone training at Ridgemond.
• Confidential counselling.
• Learner mentoring.
